Obituary for Thomas A. Hoke

Thomas A.  Hoke
Thomas A. Hoke, 82, of Fayetteville passed away Friday evening, January 5, 2018 unexpectedly.
Born in Meadville on January 22, 1935 he was the son of Arthur and Marian Hoke. Tom was a graduate of Gannon College in Erie, PA and St. Francis University in Loretto, Pa. He worked for Nationwide Insurance for over 35 years
He loved golf, Syracuse sports and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents; his brother, James and his wife Jackie; sister, Ann Heile and her husband George; and brothers-in-law Bob Barrickman and Ed Dougherty.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Barbara; his children, Kathleen (David) Chubb, Thomas (Lesa) Hoke, Kimberly (Matthew) DeCastro and Douglas (Charlene) Hoke; grandchildren, Katelin, Alec, Daniel, Chelsea, Chad, and Ashley; sisters, Sister Mary Carol Hoke, Rita Barrickman and Jane Dougherty; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Maryle Carns a dear family friend.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, January 10th from 10 am to Noon at Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville with a Memorial Mass to follow at noon.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception School, 400 Salt Springs Street, Fayetteville, NY 13066 or the American Cancer Society.
