Meet the funeral directors and funeral home staff members of Schepp Family Funeral Homes: EATON-TUBBS Fayetteville Chapel - R.H. SCHEPP & SON Minoa Chapel - NEWELL-FAY Manlius Chapel. We are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.
Thomas R. Schepp, Funeral Director
A native of Minoa, Tom is a graduate of ES-M High School, LeMoyne College, and Simmons Institute of Funeral Service. His father Russell established a funeral home in Minoa in 1938 and welcomed his son as a partner in 1979. In the face of changing times with large conglomerates taking over many funeral homes, Tom opted to merge the funeral homes of Fayetteville, Manlius, and Minoa, construct new facilities for the villages, and continue the tradition of local, family-owned community service.
Tom, his wife Nadia, and younger children Ethan and Larah reside in Fayetteville. Tom’s oldest son T.R. is a lawyer with the Robert O’Leary firm in Manlius, and Bobby works for the Town of Manlius Highway Department.
Michael J. Small, Funeral Director
A native of Fayetteville, Mike is a graduate of Immaculate Conception School, Assumption High School, and Simmons Institute of Funeral Service. Mike joined Selden Tubbs at the Eaton-Tubbs Funeral Home in Fayetteville in 1981 and has been with the firm through the years. Mike is a member of the Wortley Foundation Board of Directors, a member & treasurer of the Manlius Historical Society board of trustees, and is a former member & chairman of the Fayetteville Senior Center Board. He has been on the Village of Fayetteville Board of Trustees since 2001.
Erich A. Schepp, Funeral Director
Tom’s son Erich graduated F-M High School, LeMoyne College, and Simmons Institute of Funeral Service. A life member of the Fayetteville Fire Department, he was elected Chief of the Minoa Fire Department in 2013. Erich joined the family business in 2004 starting the fourth generation of the family in professional funeral service. He resides in Minoa with his wife Chelsea and their three children, Tyler, Madelynn and Gavin.
