Obituary for Mary G. Carr

Mary G. Carr, 88, of Fayetteville, died peacefully at The Nottingham. Born in Binghamton, she graduated from Binghamton Central High School and Northwestern University. Mary retired from General Electric. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville and a member of the Tuscarora Golf Club.

She was predeceased by her husband, Edward J. Carr in 1993; parents, George H. and Anna Grace ; sister, Ellin Sullivan; and brother, George J. Grace.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Marie Grace; nieces, Joanne Sullivan and Kara Grace; nephew, Eric Grace and cousin, Charles Doerner.

Family and friends may call from Noon to 1:30 pm on Friday at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will follow. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fayetteville.

The family thanks the staff of The Nottingham for their compassionate care.
