After High School Ron worked for Kallet’s Theater and NEWS Channel 9 as a field reporter before enlisting in the Armed Services. Ron proudly served three tours in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, Rank E5 IC-2 (Interior Communications Electrician) and was awarded with the National Defense service Medal, Vietnam Medal with 2 bronze stars and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal With Device 1960.
