Obituary for Arlene L. Webb

Arlene L.  Webb
Arlene Lukacs Webb, 80, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully after a brave battle with cancer. Born in Syracuse she graduated from St. Vincent dePaul High School. She was a nurse for many years for Dr. John Edward Kelly, Jr. MD in Syracuse.

She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville and an active member and served on the Board of the Fayetteville Senior Center. She enjoyed quilting and crossword puzzles and was a member of the Brookside Supper Club.

She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, John R. Webb, Jr. in 2015; son-in-law, Joseph Michael Burns, III; and her parents, Paul and Margaret Lukacs.

She is survived by her daughter, Allison Webb Burns; grandchildren, Ashley (Gino) Molfino, Maggie (Scott) Collins, Emily (Ryan) Schnell and Joey Burns; great-grandchildren, Poppy, Hannah and Ruah; sister, Patty Sherlock; and brother, Paul Lukacs; and many nieces, nephews and cuzons.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The funeral will begin at 9:15 am at the funeral home followed by the Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville. Burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery.

The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Menorah Park for their compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs St., Fayetteville, NY 13066.
