Obituary for Lee A. Colton

Lee A. Colton
Lee A. Colton, 57, of East Syracuse, passed away unexpectedly on Friday. He was a proud alumni of St. Lawrence University where he was inducted into the sports Hall of Fame for lacrosse. He and Jennifer were so proud that their daughter was also a graduate of St. Lawrence. Lee was the type of person who could make you smile and instantly feel ten times better, a man of grace, humility and spirituality. Family was the love of his life - he was a foster parent to many children, eventually adopting his two sons. Lee was predeceased by his parents, Leroy and Willie Mae Colton; brother, James Gibson and his niece, Brandy Colton.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Colton; children, Samantha, Cerrah and Cebven; niece Talayaisa Gibson; sister, Yvette Burley; brothers, Lloyd Colton and Rodney Lee as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, June 6 from 4 to 7 pm at R. H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 7:30 pm at the funeral home.
