Obituary for Kathleen M. Raimondo

Kathleen M. Raimondo, 73, of the Hamlet of Manlius Center, died Friday at Sunnyside Care Center. Born in Utica, Kathy graduated from Minoa High School. She was co-owner of Raimondo Bros. and secretary for many years. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Minoa. Kathy bowled with the Wednesday Morning Womens Bowling League at Fremont Lanes and the Sunday Night Mixed League at Astro Lanes and played Bunko for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, David and her sister, Marianne Brightwell.
She is survived by her sons, Michael (Katie) and Chester; grandchildren, Casey Raimondo, Zachary Raimondo, Martin Harmon and Arianna Harmon; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call Thursday, March 23 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at R.H. Schepp & Son Minoa Chapel, 6530 Schepp’s Corners Rd., Minoa. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Friday, March 24 at St. Mary’s Church, 401 N. Main St., Minoa. Burial will be in Fayetteville Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Sunnyside Care Center for the care and comfort they provided.
