Obituary for Lillian Rochin Alexander

Lillian Rochin Alexander died on February 6, 2017 at Harbor Point in Centerville, MA where she had been a resident.
She was predeceased by her husbands, Norman J. Rochin and John T. Alexander of East Syracuse; beloved parents, Nora and George Fahey; and her sisters Beatrice F. Hartnett, Dorothy F. Smith, Margaret F. Ray and Sister Caroline Fahey.
She was the beloved mother of Carolyn (Don) Rowland of New Canaan, Ct, Marilyn (Robert) Mates of Clifton Park, NY, Mark (Stephanie) Rochin of East Syracuse, NY, Anne (Daniel) Jordan of Dennisport, MA, Peter (Elizabeth) Rochin of Ashburn, VA and Mary Elizabeth (David) Palo of Chantilly, Va. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Lillian worked many years at the Internal Revenue Service in Syracuse, at IBEW in East Syracuse and at Bishop Grimes High School.
Lillian was a communicant of St. Matthew’s Church for over fifty years. She was active as a volunteer at St. Matthew’s school and at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Family and friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, February 9th at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville. The service will be Friday, February 10th 8:15 am at the funeral home and 9:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 401 N. Main St., Minoa. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt.
