Bernadette A. Roberts, 49, of Manlius passed away suddenly, Monday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse the daughter of the late John and Margaret Roberts. In 2005 Bernadette joined the family of Freddie and Phyllis Corper where she became a daughter and a sister to them. Bernie graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School.
She attended ARC Day Habilitation Program in East Syracuse for many years and she enjoyed going to movies, out to dinner and the weekly Hollow Reed Dance for the disabled.
Bernadette was a fun loving friendly person who enjoyed spending time with family, friends and enjoyed life in general.
She is predeceased by a loving aunt, Lucille Roberts, whom she was very close to. Bernie is survived by Freddie and Phyllis Corper; sisters, Elizabeth Clark, Maria (Maher) Najjar, Elena (Dana Briggs) Logan, Pamela (William) Boyd; aunt, Rose Roberts; close friend Avis Portney and several cousins.
Calling hours will be from 9:30 to 10:30 Saturday, at the Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St. Fayetteville. Followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
