Obituary for Kathleen Rowe Vita

Kathleen Rowe Vita, 52, of East Syracuse passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born in Long Beach, CA, lived most of her life in Fayetteville and graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. She graduated from Bay Path College with a B.S. in Business Administration. Kathleen worked as the Human Resources Director for Target Corporation many years, enjoying many awards over the years and became Director Assistant for Corporate Headquarters at the Camillus location. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville and a former member of the Junior League of Syracuse.
Kathleen enjoyed helping people. She participated in the Arise Ski Program, teaching children with disabilities learn how to ski. She was an active supporter of her brother, Michael G. Rowe, Jr. through Onondaga Community Living. Kathleen enjoyed the time she spent with her brother, Michael and going to California visiting her brother David and his family, wife Anna and daughters, Maya and Sienna.
She was predeceased by her father, Michael G. Rowe, Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Ludwig PA. Vita; mother, Kathleen (Avery) Sinclair, Jr. of Fayetteville; sisters and brothers, David (Anna) Rowe of Walnut Creek, CA, Alex Brazier (Justin Emond) of Boston, MA, Michael G. Rowe Jr. of DeWitt, Chip (Kathryn) Sinclair of Philadelphia, PA, Stacey Sinclair of North Syracuse; nieces, Maya and Sienna Rowe, and Toren Sinclair; and several aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday at Eaton-Tubbs Fayetteville Chapel, 7191 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Michael G. Rowe, Jr. c/o Onondaga Community Living Inc., 518 James St., Suite 110, Syracuse, NY 13203.
